Innovative Systems, Inc. (Innovative) a leading global provider of SaaS and on-premise software data management and risk and compliance solutions is expanding our US Account Management team due to high growth and continuing global expansion. The successful candidate must have Account Management or Client Relationship Management experience within the data quality, data management, or data governance software solutions space.  Your DQ knowledge will include understanding of software solutions that perform data cleansing, data standardization, data management, data enrichment or data migration activities for enterprises that care about data integrity.  You are familiar interacting with Data Governance teams and their impacted departments discussing ways to improve their ROI through top data quality solutions.

You  have at least 3 year's experience as an enterprise Account or Client Relationship Manager who has been focused on data cleansing, data quality , data governance, data management-related software solutions for on-premise and / or SaaS  environments. You thrive on nurturing and retaining existing client account relationships and growing accounts through up sell and cross selling activities.  Deeply committed to client success, you understand the importance of building value for and developing credibility and trust with all stakeholders.

Location: Remote or based at our Pittsburgh headquarters office where we have a flexible hybrid work model.


Innovative's Account Managers / Client Relationship Managers are great communicators who see the big picture, are highly organized, strategic, and great influencers.  You will:

  • Establish, cultivate, and grow relationships within our data quality account base in the US/North America and possibly other regions of the world
  • Excel at retaining existing accounts (value as well as the number of accounts) while managing, negotiating, and growing new DQ account revenue and market share through up-selling and cross-selling into your assigned customers
  • Conduct regular cadence of client touchpoints including account reviews (QBRs, etc.)
  • Create and maintain up-to-date account development plans and strategies
  • Proactively maintain vigilance over account health and competitive and/or account merger & acquisition activities; escalate potential as well as known at-risk situations to leadership for action planning
  • Collaborate and partner with account (sales) executives and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes related to account retention and account growth  
  • Serve as a client advocate, maintaining awareness of their business needs and concerns and recommending solutions that align with the client company’s strategic objectives
  • Oversee customer account management, including negotiating and closing of contracts and agreements that meet client needs and maximize profits; partner with other internal stakeholder including the executive management team to ensure success
  • Keep abreast of the external environment including industry news and the competitive climate
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Innovative's solutions and services
  • Follow team protocols and processes including maintenance of up to date documentation including within Salesforce
  • Convey up-to-date customer feedback to Innovative's internal teams and executives

  • Minimum 3-4 years’ Account Management or Client Relationships Management roles specifically within data quality, data screening, data cleansing and matching, data integration, data management - related enterprise software accounts. 
  • Proven track record of managing, retaining and growing a portfolio of existing accounts 
  • Prior success meeting  - and better yet - exceeding account retention and revenue growth targets
  • Proven ability to discern and uncover business needs and explain how Innovative's data quality software/technology solutions meet those needs and create value for the business
  • Proven success in communicating with and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong commitment to follow through
  • Prior CRM experience (Salesforce is ideal)
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10-15%; acquisition and maintenance of proper travel documents


  • Knowledge of business Intelligence (BI), AML, KYC or similar technologies
  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in other languages
